GrandMaster Roc Raida was a major influence on me as a Turntablist. I still remember seeing the "95 DMC World Championships at my homie's house. At the time I had no fucking clue what he was doing, I just knew it was dope. Over the years, I've studied his technique and learned from his pioneering on the decks as much as I have from any DJ and I'm grateful for his contributions to the art. My condolences go out to his family and his crew; I know that he was loved by many. Thank you once again Roc Raida.
